Caroline-- I had such a great pleasure meeting you and your Mom in Orange County on Saturday. So glad we got to share a little about our cancer experiences except for me it is overwhelming and sad because I've been in so much pain over the last three years and I hate hearing that other people have similar experiences. Definitely feel your pain in this piece. Thanks for writing it. Lots of love!
Wild to read your story and very glad you're doing well! That tumor lysis syndrome is no joke (ie. incredibly terrifying). Big thanks for finding/recommending my own little Substack on this strange cancer life. I felt like I was in a time machine-- I was first diagnosed at 25 and notched my first BMT at 26 as well.
Anyway, looking forward to reading along. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions or just connecting, I know it can be a strange road leading out of transplant. But hey, it can also be pretty great.
thank god you’re a great writer in addition to being a fighter. consider me a Hot Girl Cancer loyalist
Babe wake up, new post from Hot Girl Cancer!! Add kisses from your friends in LA to your collection ❤️
